CFO Strategic Partner Michael has over 20 years of commercial experience developed in CFO, Company Secretary and other senior executive and regional roles in a wide range of industries including FMCG, medical devices (B2B, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution), health providers, lubricants, and education (higher education and vocational training campuses and online). Michael brings with him broad international experience having worked extensively in Europe and Asia.

Specialist areas: Business and financial strategy formulation and implementation for start-ups, established and growth focussed businesses. Multinational subsidiary and local ASX reporting. Business restructuring, large scale ERP implementations & change management locally and internationally. Business process re-engineering and multifunctional team implementations. Performance review and improvement including KPI reporting and monitoring.

Michael has proven experience in increasing the value of businesses through well managed change, acquisition, investment, divestment through trade sales, and extensive restructuring. He also creates well run finance functions utilising his strong financial expertise, change management and people management skills.

Michael has the expertise to manage a wide variety of projects across a broad spectrum of industries. He is a team player, developing strategic and operational plans, and leads the effective implementation of those plans through motivated teams and a hands on approach.

Michael holds a a Masters in Financial Management from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Queensland University. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
